Lauren is an experienced bookkeeper, having worked both in industry and practice. She processes transactions and keeps on top of clients' day-to-day finances so they can get clear insight into how their business is performing. Outside of work Lauren enjoys getting out and about with her little one, exploring the world.
What's one piece of accounting advice you think all business owners should follow?
Snap the receipt and forward the invoice as soon as it lands. That way you've done your bit and don't have to scramble when your bookkeeper comes chasing.
What's your role at the firm, and what does a typical day look like for you?
I'm the bookkeeper. I process the transactions and keep on top of your day-to-day, so you can gain insight into your company.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy taking my little one out and about, exploring the world.
What's one myth about accountants you'd like to bust?
We aren't nags, we're just trying to save you easy money.
